Just because you have posted it before does not mean your audience remembers it.
One of the easiest ways to give up on marketing too early is to assume your audience is paying closer attention than they really are.
You post something on Facebook.
You send an email.
You share a video.
A few weeks later, someone suggests using that idea again and your first thought is:
We already did that.
You did.
Your audience probably did not.
You see everything your agency publishes because you are the one creating it.
Your customers are not scrolling through your last 37 posts making sure they have seen every message.
They may have missed it entirely.
They may have seen it but not needed insurance at that moment.
They may have seen it three times before it finally became familiar.
That repetition is part of marketing.
Tonya described it in this episode as using your “greatest hits.”
A message that worked nine months ago is not automatically finished because you posted it once.
It is easy to judge social media by followers, views, and likes.
Those numbers can be exciting, but they are not always the goal.
For an insurance agency, being familiar to the right people can be much more valuable than being seen by thousands of people who will never become customers.
When someone finally needs insurance, you want them to think:
I have seen that agency before.
That familiarity is built over time.
There is another reason to keep showing up.
People look at your online presence before they contact you.
If they find your agency and your last social media post is from two years ago, what does that communicate?
An active presence shows that the agency is still engaged, still communicating, and still paying attention.
You do not have to become internet famous.
You have to stay visible.
Marketing rarely rewards the person who posts once and waits.
It rewards consistency.
Reuse strong ideas.
Say important things more than once.
Keep your agency familiar.
Your audience has probably seen far less of your marketing than you think.
And sometimes the post you are tired of seeing is the one your next customer is seeing for the first time.
